VOICES 2020
BoF’s annual invitation-only gathering, is usually held at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire every December. It aims to unite the movers, shakers and trailblazers of the global fashion industry with the big thinkers, entrepreneurs and inspiring people who are shaping the wider world, to explore the most important issues of our times.
However given the pandemic, we were forced to reimagine the format of the event. We rented out a former retail space in Notting Hill and transformed it into a television studio, broadcasting the event hosting some guests remotely and some on-site.
Each year, we work with an illustrator, where I then lead the design across several creative touch points. In 2020 we worked with Martin Nicolausson.
Fashion insiders including Remo Ruffini, Dries Van Noten, Samira Nasr, Virgil Abloh and José Neves were joined by experts from the wider worlds of science, technology, politics, economics and more to reflect on a year of global crisis and what’s next for the fashion industry and beyond.
This event required a designs for the on-set screen, as well as the screen for broadcast. I also designed vinyl decals to wrap around the building, marketing and social materials and some printed collateral for ‘knowledge packs’ that went out ahead of the event.
